Some questions can only be answered with a mask.

Renee Montoya is a fictional comic book character published by DC Comics. The character was initially created for Batman: The Animated Series, and was preemptively introduced into mainstream comics before the airing of her animated debut in 1992.
The character has developed over the years. Renee is initially a police detective from the Gotham City Police Department, assigned to the Major Crimes Unit who comes into frequent contact with the masked vigilante, Batman. Over the course of her comic book history, Renee is outed as a lesbian, and later resigns from the police force. After being trained by the first man to bear the name, Montoya now operates as the Question out of a lighthouse she shares with Aristotle Rodor in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Re: Renee

jaclynhyde:

When asked if Renee was the Question, Didio specifically answered she’s in the GCPD. Could she be doing both?

I’m still out, either way. But I can dream DC didn’t fuck something up.

It would actually be really interesting if Renee was still the Question but worked in Gotham instead of Vic’s town and helped the GCPD. But I don’t think Bruce would ~allow~ it.

Le sigh.
